School Violence Forum Is Today

Two Orange County legislators are sponsoring a public forum in Anaheim today on school violence.
“The purpose of this panel discussion is to provide families with the information they need regarding their children’s safety at school,” said Assemblyman Ken Maddox (R-Garden Grove). He is co-sponsoring the event with Assemblyman Dick Ackerman (R-Fullerton). “The biggest question: Could this happen here?”
Speaking at the forum will be school leaders, police, youth counselors, students and parents.
The forum will run from 10-11:30 a.m. in the social studies lecture hall at Western High School, 501 S. Western Ave.
