Man Shot to Death in Palmdale

PALMDALE — A man was shot to death near an apartment complex here early Friday, and authorities were seeking a suspect in connection with the incident.
The shooting occurred about 5 a.m. at 1320 E. Ave. Q, according to Deputy Margarita Velazquez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Velazquez said homicide detectives have identified the suspect as Thomas David Martinez, 20.
Martin was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his upper left arm and a pierced left ear, Velazquez said.

Authorities declined to identify the victim pending notification of his relatives.
