Wrong Perspective on Internet Voyeurism?

I was disheartened to see the Reuters article “Pay-Per-View Hall” (Sept. 16) as a topic. Perhaps the subject could have been better addressed in Business regarding the Internet porn business, or in an article regarding questions of Internet technology, or perhaps as part of a more in-depth treatment of the continued exploitation of women in the ‘90s.

Giving two-thirds of your page to this garbage is shocking. I am highly disappointed at your editorial decision to feature this tasteless, prurient material in a feature context in a family newspaper.
My sister says I am hopelessly out of touch and the kids have seen much worse on the Web. I know this; it’s not the Web I’m complaining about, it’s The Times.
