Crash at Oxnard-Area Intersection Kills 2

Two people were killed in a two-car accident Sunday night in an unincorporated area near Oxnard, CHP officials said.
The crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. at Victoria Avenue and Gonzales Road near the Santa Clara River bridge. CHP officials said only that a Honda and a Volkswagen collided at the intersection.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, the California Highway Patrol said.
No other details were available Sunday night.
