Forum to Focus on Improving Safety

Los Angeles’ top law enforcement officials will speak and answer questions Friday at a public forum in Granada Hills.
Sheriff Lee Baca, Dist. Atty. Gil Garcetti and Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks will headline the summit titled “Partnering Together for Safer Neighborhoods.”
Organized by the Southland Regional Assn. of Realtors and the North San Fernando Valley Community Foundation, the forum will be held from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Odyssey restaurant at 15600 Odyssey Drive.
The $15 admission fee, part of which is tax deductible, includes a full breakfast.
To register, bring or mail a $15 check made payable to NSFVCF to: SRAR, Attn: Judy Wildman, 7232 Balboa Blvd., Van Nuys, CA 91406. Include name, address and daytime telephone number. There is no on-site registration, Jones said, and checks must be received at the SRAR office by Wednesday.
