Re “Lawmakers Evaluate Last Session,” Sept. 20.
Tom McClintock: This is a great man. He is all for the creation of a Valley bus system that would more than likely cause the working poor who ride the buses to pay double fares to get to and from Los Angeles under the auspices of free enterprise. He is all for the American taxpayer. One would think that he would have refused to accept the humongous pay raise that all elected officials received last year. But he didn’t. And he calls the MTA bloated.
