On Sunday, the full moon rises between the bright planets Jupiter and Saturn. The three rise together during evening twilight, remain together all night, and are low in the west at the beginning of morning twilight. On the previous night, Saturday, the moon is above Jupiter; on Monday, the moon is below Saturn. The illustration time is for 9 p.m. Sunday.Source: John Mosley, Griffith Observatory
