Nonprofit groups in the city may advertise their events on banners across Harbor Boulevard near Malvern Avenue free of charge thanks to a new city-sponsored Community Event Banner program.
Permit applications must be obtained 30 days before the period when the banner is displayed. Permits, available at City Hall, are available only for Fullerton-based nonprofit organizations.
