The Orange County Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge is dedicating an evening in honor of the foundation’s 50 years of service Nov. 7 in Cowan Heights.
The foundation was founded in 1949 to maintain a positive approach to responsible citizenship and preserve the American way of life.
Four World War II Medal of Honor recipients will be feted.
The funds raised at the event, called “A Salute to Our Greatest Generation,” will provide opportunities for local high school juniors to attend the foundation campus at Valley Forge where students learn about their national heritage.
The cost is $100 per person. For reservations, call (949) 363-4084.
