Orange County Superior Court Judge Thomas J. Borris on Thursday pleaded no contest to a drunk driving charge and was ordered to pay $1,300 in fines and complete a nine-month alcohol program, according to Deputy Dist. Atty. Ebrahim Baytieh.
Borris, the supervising judge at the Westminster courthouse, smashed his Jeep Cherokee into a tree in Huntington Beach earlier this year. As part of his sentence, Borris’ driving privileges will be restricted for three months. He will also be placed on probation for three years, according to Baytieh.
