Newport Harbor Tops Woodbridge to Win Title

Sarah Barker and Allison Schneider swept at No. 3 doubles to lead top-ranked Newport Harbor to a 12-6 victory over No. 2 Woodbridge in a Sea View League girls’ tennis match.
The Sea Kings captured their first outright league championship since 1995.
Doubles players Jenny Meyer and Kristen Case swept at No. 1, giving up only four games as they remained undefeated in league play.
Newport Harbor improved to 14-1 and 7-0 in league.
Susanna Lingman won her singles sets, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, 6-3 for Woodbridge (12-4, 5-2).
