The Planning Commission approved plans Tuesday for a 106-home development on the southeast corner of Imperial Highway and Placentia Boulevard--with a catch.
The developers wanted to build wooden fences surrounding yards not visible from the street, but the commissioners agreed wooden fences don’t last long enough.
The developer, Costa Mesa-based Standard Pacific Homes, will come back to the commission in the near future with alternatives.
