Re “Blue Line Has the Most Pedestrian Accidents,” Oct. 22: My question is, how does one manage to get hit by a train? You know exactly where they’ll be: on the tracks, not pulling out of an alley in front of you, or making an unexpected left turn in front of you. They’re enormous. And they make noise. I simply can’t imagine the degree of unconsciousness it must require actually to be struck by one of these monsters.
