The newly formed lobbying wing of the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce is launching its fiscal year with a visit from Rep. Christopher Cox (R-Newport Beach) on Friday.
Cox, whose district includes Mission Viejo, will speak to the year-old External Affairs Committee about his proposal to refund federal taxes from the national budget surplus, a Cox spokesman said.
The south Orange County chamber, which is based in Mission Viejo, is made up of representatives from the Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita chamber offices.
