The Planning Commission will decide whether to allow a developer to redesign its plan for expanding a housing complex at its meeting tonight.
The developer, Beverly Hills-based Shapell Industries Inc., asked the commission for permission to shift two streets in the development, located in the San Joaquin Hills community, according to a staff report.
Developers must submit a map for approval by the Planning Commission when planning a housing complex, said Bob Lenard, the city’s community development director.
The street relocation would expand the size of several lots in the development, said Lyle Overby, assistant to the planner at Shapell.
