Mammoth Mountain Gets Glacier Snow Job

The Glacier of Anaheim LLC said Wednesday that it has signed a management agreement with Mammoth Mountain, installing the resort company as overseer of all snow-related operations at the proposed Gotcha Glacier in Anaheim.
Gotcha Glacier, the nation’s first indoor snowboard and surf park, has yet to secure construction financing, but Glacier of Anaheim hopes to open the facility in early 2002. The project is located on the Edison International Field parking lot in what Anaheim has dubbed Sportstown.
