The Walnut Avenue over-crossing of the Costa Mesa Freeway is scheduled to open next week, the same week the Collins Avenue over-crossing is to close for about 12 to 14 months to accommodate the freeway widening. The Collins Avenue bridge is scheduled to be taken down over two nights from midnight to 4:30 a.m. and is expected to cause loud noise in the area. Information: (800) 724-0353.
