Angelita N. Eneriz; Retired Nurse’s Aide

Angelita Nagara Vigil Eneriz, a retired nurse’s aide, died Sunday at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo after suffering a heart attack. She was 74.
She was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Alberhill, Calif.
In 1966, she moved to Camarillo from Canoga Park with her husband, Manuel, and their four sons.
Eneriz worked as a nurse’s aide, later retiring to care for her husband, a former prisoner of war who had been detained in Nagasaki, Japan.
She was a member of American Legion Camarillo Post No. 741 and the American Ex-POW Organization.
In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by sons Richard of Camarillo, Manuel Jr. of Palmdale, Robert of West Hills and Dexter of Lancaster, and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pierce Bros. Griffin Chapel in Camarillo, whose mortuary is handling the arrangements. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pierce Bros. Griffin Chapel. Entombment will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.
