The City Council on Tuesday voted to delay decisions about charter amendments--including term limits. Term limits are one of several charter issues under review by the council. At the request of Councilwoman Lucille Kring, the council briefly considered whether the amendment limiting council members to eight consecutive years in office should be revoked. At Mayor Tom Daly’s request, the council delayed that decision in favor of reviewing term limits with other possible charter amendments June 13.
