The City Council voted to increase the base fee for the city’s weekly summer day camp for first- through sixth-graders, from $85 to $90.
Marvin DeCarlo, director of the Recreation and Parks District, said the program costs had not been reviewed since 1997 and the boost was needed to make the program self-supporting.
