Driver Strikes Woman, House

A driver blacked out behind the wheel Wednesday afternoon striking a woman pushing a stroller, then plowing into a home in Laguna Beach, police said. Nobody was seriously injured.
The incident happened at 4:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Park Avenue. The 88-year-old driver lost consciousness, and her car ran onto the sidewalk, striking a woman with a stroller, missing the infant, then hitting the house.
The driver, Edna Campell of Laguna Beach, appeared unhurt. She was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in in Mission Viejo for observation.
The pedestrian, Jaqueline Garcia, suffered a mild concussion.
