Hearing Set for Couple in Girl’s Death

A preliminary hearing has been set in Los Angeles Superior Court for a woman and her boyfriend who are accused of murdering the woman’s 3-year-old daughter and encasing the toddler’s body in concrete.
Superior Court Judge Michael Kellogg is scheduled to hear the case involving Rakeisa L. Scott, 23, and Randy L. Foster, 22, both of Long Beach, on Sept. 25.
Kellogg will determine if there is enough evidence to try them on charges of murdering Milan Anjonet Scott Wilson.
Police said the little girl was killed on Dec. 2, 1999.
Authorities arrested Scott and Foster in June after Foster’s father told police that the child’s body might be in the truck of a gray Buick parked in the Athens area of Los Angeles County.
