Police Seek Clues in Woman’s Slaying

A patron leaving a Garden Grove sports bar discovered the body of a partially clad woman early Friday in an alley, police said.
Investigators identified the woman as Jackie Ann Waycaster, 43, of Garden Grove. She had been beaten, stabbed and possibly raped before being left in the alley off Haster Place, Garden Grove Police Lt. John Woods said. The woman was discovered at 1:40 a.m. by the bar patron, who called 911.
Investigators do not yet have any suspects in the incident, police said.
