Tiger Woods Fined for Crossing SAG Pickets

Tiger Woods has agreed to pay a $100,000 fine and apologize for crossing Screen Actors Guild picket lines in the summer to film a Buick commercial for General Motors Corp. Half of the fine was suspended and won’t be levied if Woods keeps a promise not to cross picket lines during the next five years. “Now more than ever, I understand how serious SAG’s situation was,” Woods said in a statement released by SAG. “I apologize for any pain I may have caused.”
