Forum Will Focus on Future Look of Marina del Rey
- Share via
The community of Marina del Rey--now mostly a hodgepodge of private condominiums, strip malls and boat slips--could get a major make-over in the next few years given renegotiations on current ground leases and a crop of mixed-use development proposals now under consideration. On Friday, the Westside Urban Forum and a panel of urban planners, preservationists and other land-use experts will examine how the world’s largest small-craft marina could look in the not-too-distant future. The discussion is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Riviera Country Club, 1250 Capri Drive, Pacific Palisades. For more information, call (310) 394-0253.
