As the reelected trustees of the Camarillo Health Care District (CHCD), we extend our gratitude to the community for its vote of confidence.
The past six years have shown dramatic increases in the need for and utilization of the district’s health and wellness services.
In 1999-’00, approximately 23,000 residents took advantage of CHCD services, and over 1,000 programs and services were offered on a wide variety of health, wellness and educational topics. We would like to acknowledge the foresight and vision of the Camarillo business and civic leaders, health care professionals and countless others who volunteer their leadership in various planning and advisory arenas.
In addition, we are proud to report that CHCD was recently named California’s Outstanding Health Care District by the Assn. of California Healthcare Districts.
