Marriott, Supplier Donate Furniture

ExecuStay by Marriott and Cort Furniture Rental have donated $14,000 of “gently used” home furnishings to Victory Outreach, an interim-living and rehabilitation center for poor families.
Last week’s donation is part of ExecuStay’s national Sharing With Our Communities project, which gives used home furnishings to shelters and other transitional-housing organizations.
Santa Ana-based Victory Outreach, a 20-year-old nonprofit organization, houses more than 40 people.
“We got a lot of small appliances, comforters, linen, irons, can openers, things that we can donate to needy families. It was a tremendous blessing,” said David White, a Victory Outreach administrator.
