Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Nancy Beard will facilitate a community meeting on the enforcement of the city’s dog ordinance in Gum Grove Park. The meeting will be held at City Hall at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Issues for discussion include whether to continue enforcement of the ordinance on a complaint basis. Despite an ordinance that bans dogs in Seal Beach parks, dog owners have brought their pets to the park at Avalon Drive and Crestview Avenue for many years.
