Ansys Diagnostics to Acquire MetaChem

Ansys Diagnostics Inc., a Lake Forest manufacturer of medical diagnostic and laboratory products, said Friday it has agreed to acquire MetaChem Technologies Inc., a Torrance company that will operate as an Ansys division and develop pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. Financial terms were not disclosed.
