The City Council voted unanimously last week to place a crossing guard at the intersection of Alma Aldea and Avenida de los Fundadores.
Staff members told the council the guard should be posted at the intersection by the first week in March and will be on duty at the intersection during the peak traffic hours in the morning and afternoon.
