Be sure everything you keep is in good condition.
Keep the tags.
Keep the box.
But know that, if whatever you have becomes so highly collectible in 50 years that everybody wants it, it doesn’t matter much what condition it is in.
And, finally, pay no attention to any of this. Your guess is as good as anyone else’s.
