Leiner Financial Exec Promoted to VP, CFO

* Carson-based vitamin supplier Leiner Health Products has promoted Steve Miller to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining Leiner as vice president of financial planning in 1997, Miller held several financial executive positions at PepsiCo from 1983 to 1997, including finance director for the bottling operations in Florida and South Georgia, and director of planning for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
* Los Angeles-based real estate company Douglas Emmett & Co. has hired William Kamer as senior vice president and general counsel. He will help supervise acquisitions and dispositions, as well as the operation of existing properties.
* California Center Bank, a Los Angeles-based commercial bank serving multiethnic and small business customers, said D. Don Lee has joined the bank’s management team as chief credit officer. Lee has served as chief credit administrator and senior loan officer at Wilshire State Bank, and he has a strong technical background and extensive experience in loan underwriting, credit review and credit risk management.
* Superior Industries International Inc., a Van Nuys-based supplier of aluminum wheels for the major auto makers, has promoted Steven Borick to executive vice president with expanded responsibilities for managing the company’s growth.
