The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will begin visiting elementary schools in Stanton next week to deliver messages about safety. Deputy Dave Rios will hand out coloring books featuring tips about safety, such as “Don’t talk to strangers” and “Always ask a parent for permission before going anywhere.” He will visit Robert M. Pyles, Carver and Walter Knott elementary schools.
