Homestore.com Added to Russell Indexes

Homestore.com Inc. in Thousand Oaks, which operates a network of Internet sites offering home and real estate information, has been added to the Russell 1000 and Russell 3000 indexes.
According to the Frank Russell Co., more than $175 billion is invested in funds using Russell’s U.S. indexes as a model.
The Russell 3000 Index captures the 3,000 largest U.S. stocks, ranking them by market capitalization. The largest 1,000 companies in the ranking make up the Russell 1000 Index.
Homestore.com’s family of Web sites includes Homestore.com, Realtor.com, HomeBuilder.com, SpringStreet.com, Remodel.com and HomeFair.com.
Through the Web sites, consumers can view new and existing homes for sale, find broker and agent services, apartments to rent, remodeling information, and moving and relocation information.
