Cal Lutheran University will hold its annual Founders Day Convocation on Oct. 27.
It is a celebration that serves as the annual meeting of supporters representing the church, faculty, students and community.
The theme of this year’s event is “Dimensions of Diversity at CLU,” and the day is scheduled to include speeches, awards, choral and instrumental music and art.
The university will also dedicate its newest dormitory.
John Slaughter, former president of Occidental College, will deliver the keynote address during a 10 a.m. ceremony in Samuelson Chapel.
The day will conclude with an evening concert featuring the university’s choirs and symphony.
The event is free to the public. The campus is at 60 W. Olsen Road in Thousand Oaks. For more information, call 493-3936.
