Elian’s Cousin Is Hospitalized

A Florida cousin caring for Elian Gonzalez, the 6-year-old Cuban at the center of a custody battle between the United States and Cuba, was taken to a hospital in Miami suffering from stress, her father said. Marisleysis Gonzalez, 22, was overwhelmed by the strain of the custody fight, her father Lazaro Gonzalez, told a television station.
