Surfwear maker Hurley International said Monday it has named former surfing pro Dean Quinn its new national sales manager.
Quinn, who will assume his new duties April 15, replaces Michael Lesher, who resigned from the Costa Mesa-based company last month for personal reasons.
Quinn began working with founder Bob Hurley five years ago when Hurley was running Billabong USA. Hurley broke from that company in 1998 to launch his own brand. Currently, Quinn is the Orange County sales representative for Hurley, a position he will relinquish April 15 when he assumes the new role. Quinn also has experience in design and sales management, Hurley said.
