A symphony, written by a gifted 7-year-old composer and student at the Orange County High School of the Arts, will be premiered by the school’s Chamber Orchestra tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place at the Margaret A. Webb Performing Arts Center on the campus of Los Alamitos High School.
Pianist Kit Armstrong of Anaheim has been writing and making music for two years now (since age 5). His work, titled “Celebration,” was inspired by his pet chicken Hydrogen. The youngster has won several awards at prestigious music festivals.
The program will also feature works by other composers.
