The first shovelful of earth was officially turned Saturday to start construction of the Foothill Ranch library.
The Foothill Ranch library will be the 28th branch of the county’s library system. The 10,000-square-foot library is expected to house a collection of 40,000 books when it opens by summer 2001 on Cabriole near Bake Parkway.
