Clovis West 100, Simi Valley 64--Host Clovis West (27-2) overwhelmed the Pioneers (28-4) in the second half.
Simi Valley trailed, 48-40, at halftime. But the Pioneers were outscored, 11-0, in the first three minutes of the third quarter, and by a 27-12 score in the period.
Charlie Rodriguez, a 6-foot-6 sophomore center, scored 25 points for Clovis West.
