Grant Park and Pistol Range

Re “Pacific Crossroad: Stunning Ocean Views Enhance Peaceful Site of Mission Symbol,” March 9.
By accident or on purpose, you completely neglected to mention the issue of the Grant Park pistol range, a concern to many Ventura residents, especially on the West Side.
The use of the parkland in this manner is inappropriate and is inconsistent with maximizing the benefits of this beautiful piece of land for the public. In addition, the noise pollution, lead pollution and other hazards to life and property are well documented. They have been the topic of discussions before various public bodies and numerous letters to The Times and other publications.
