TV Guide Inc. said Wednesday that it will consolidate its Los Angeles operations into three floors on Hollywood Boulevard, part of a continuing effort by landlords and city officials to attract entertainment-related businesses to Hollywood to revitalize the area.
The offices, in a building owned by CIM Group across from Mann’s Chinese Theater, will become the West Coast headquarters for TV Guide. It will include offices for TV Guide Channel and the magazine’s Los Angeles editorial staff.
Real estate sources valued the deal at $10 million over 10 years.
TV Guide is being bought by Pasadena-based Gemstar International Group for about $7.6 billion.
