The City Council recently agreed to enlist the help of the Santa Ana-based Broadway Group, a consulting firm that will assist the city in preparing its application to the Local Agency Formation Commission to assume control of the city’s water and sewer services from the South Coast Water District.
According to a city report, the Broadway Group will meet with council members and staff to formulate a strategy for the takeover. The contract will not exceed $10,000.
