Planning commissioners will consider Wednesday a request to add live entertainment, including a disc jockey, bands and karaoke, at an existing restaurant and bar. Most of the entertainment would be on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Los Castles, 15081 Beach Blvd. The venue closes at 10 p.m. on Sundays and at 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Commissioners will also consider a redevelopment plan that would include tearing down all buildings, including an Ace Muffler repair shop, at 7271 and 7261 Westminster Blvd. The property owner proposes a new automotive building and parking lot.
Other business includes: a proposal to cancel the commission meeting, originally scheduled Dec. 27, and a review of the continuing operation of MVP Sports Grill at 14160 Beach Blvd.
The commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at the Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Blvd.
