Paint Your Heart Out raised $40,000 at a recent dinner gala at Thee White House. More than 240 guests attended the four-course dinner, which had the mayor, City Council members, city manager and police and fire chiefs helping serve the guests.
Paint Your Heart Out has painted 400 homes of low-income elderly and disabled homeowners over the past 10 years. The nonprofit organization is now accepting applications for its annual May free house painting from low-income homeowners 65 and older, or those with disabilities. Information: (714) 974-9481.
