Groups interested in entering the Founders Day parade or having a booth during the Oct. 7 festivities can contact the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.
The event, commemorating 85 years of cityhood, will feature a concert, children’s rides and carnival games. Proceeds from the games and food sales will go toward improving parks and recreation buildings. Information: (562) 431-2527, Ext. 326.
