La Canada 21, Burroughs 0--Chase McKibben rushed for 83 yards in 15 carries to lead the Spartans (3-0) at La Canada.
The Spartans recorded their second shutout in a row, limiting Burroughs (0-3) to 110 total yards.
La Canada rushed for 223 yards.
Eric Young, playing his first game of the season after being sidelined because of a broken wrist, passed for two touchdowns. He completed a 12-yard score to Lonnie Dietz in the second quarter and a six-yarder to Tony Naples in the third quarter.
Young completed four of eight passes for 47 yards.
