Sotheby’s to Auction Early Animation Art

Sotheby’s will present an exhibition of animation art from the collection of Los Angeles businessman Jeff Lotman at its Beverly Hills galleries on April 27 and 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The 300-piece collection--billed as “the largest prewar animation art collection to come to auction”--is being offered for sale in a two-part online sale, at https://www.sothebys.com. The first part of the auction continues through May 4; the second segment will run from May 11 to June 1.
Works in the exhibition, at 9665 Wilshire Blvd., include drawings and cels from many Disney classics. Information: (310) 274-0340.
