Robertson Stephens Names New President

John Conlin will replace Bob Emery as president and chief executive of Robertson Stephens, the San Francisco-based investment bank said Thursday. Emery resigned after serving 16 years with the firm, the company said in a statement. Conlin joined Robertson Stephens in May 1999, after filling several executive positions at Credit Suisse First Boston. Robertson Stephens has more than 1,400 employees worldwide.
