No. 5 Trabuco Hills 5, Dana Hills 1--Kyle Allen pitched a one-hitter, and he and P.J. Sandoval each had two hits and an RBI for visiting Trabuco Hills (13-3, 7-2).
Dana Hills is 4-11-1, 2-6-1.
San Clemente 3, El Toro 1 (9)--Chase Stroupe (2-2) drove in the winning run in the ninth and struck out six in eight innings to pick up the victory for visiting San Clemente (11-5, 5-4).
Billy Pinney pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save.
El Toro is 6-10, 3-6.
In the Pacific Coast League:
No. 9 Corona del Mar 5, Northwood 2--Cavan Cuyler pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts for Corona del Mar (12-3, 9-0). Dave Knecht was two for three with a double for the Sea Kings.
In the Sea View League:
Laguna Hills 5, Aliso Niguel 0--Daniel Miltenberger (5-2) pitched a two-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking one for Laguna Hills (9-7, 7-4). Outfielder Chris Turner hit a three-run home run to center in the fifth inning for the first runs of the game.
Woodbridge 7, Newport Harbor 4--Bryan Beck pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts and Joel Clark went four for four with two RBIs and two runs for host Woodbridge (6-9, 3-7).
In the Sunset League:
No. 2 Esperanza 3, Marina 1--Brian Browning’s two-run double in the second inning was the difference for Esperanza (14-2, 8-1). A.J. Shappi improved to 7-0, allowing six hits and striking out five.
Edison 6, Los Alamitos 3--Joe Mozeleski and Chris Brannan each had two hits and two RBIs for visiting Edison (9-6-1, 6-3).
Fountain Valley 7, Huntington Beach 4--Left fielder Gilbert Gonzalez hit a three-run home run in the third inning for Fountain Valley (9-7, 5-4). Andrew Green pitched four innings in relief, allowing one hit and one run, to get the win.
In the Bishop Gorman tournament:
Tustin 9, Riverton (Utah) 7--Ryan McHale had three hits, including two triples, with four RBIs and scored one run for Tustin (7-7-1, 6-1-1). Pitcher Javier Cornejo (1-1) struck out eight for the win.
